Obesity Medicine Fellowship Program
Welcome
Our program is rooted in the collaborative expertise of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism and the Center for Obesity Medicine: home to a vibrant community of faculty, trainees, and staff working within state-of-the-art clinical and research facilities. Fellows gain broad, hands-on experience managing both common and rare metabolic and weight-related disorders across diverse inpatient and outpatient settings, including UPMC Presbyterian, UPMC Magee-Womens, UPMC Montefiore, and UPMC Children’s Hospital.
Pittsburgh offers an ideal backdrop for training, combining the energy of a leading academic medical center with the accessibility and affordability of a mid-sized city. Consistently ranked among the top U.S. institutions in NIH research funding, the University of Pittsburgh provides exceptional opportunities for scholarly development through its NIH T32-funded Training Program in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism. We invite you to explore our program, connect with our faculty, and discover why Pittsburgh is an outstanding place to train and thrive.
