About Us

One of the largest Classical hematology programs in the nation, the University of Pittsburgh Division of Classical Hematology has over 10 physician-scientists and research investigators leading efforts in hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and other rare blood disorders. Through longstanding collaborations with Vitalant and the Hemophilia Center of Western Pennsylvania, the Division integrates a large clinical program with robust basic and translational research.
