Medical Student and Residency Training
The Division’s long-standing commitment to excellence in training medical students and residents continues to set the standard for outstanding patient care.
Medical Students
Faculty are actively engaged in both didactic and hands-on medical student training and consistently receive top evaluations for their teaching. A key component of second-year education is the Endocrine Disorders Course, taught collaboratively with faculty from five other departments. This course explores the role of endocrine systems in maintaining homeostasis while providing a thorough introduction to the presentation and management of common endocrine disorders. Clinical training in the third and fourth years further reinforces these concepts through direct patient care under expert supervision.
Residents
The Division participates fully in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) and provides residents with high-volume, diverse clinical experiences. With a large faculty devoted to teaching and mentorship, residents gain exceptional exposure to a broad spectrum of endocrine conditions, preparing them for careers in both general and subspecialty endocrinology.
