Addiction Medicine Fellowship

Program Overview

The UPMC Addiction Medicine Fellowship offers a rigorous, clinically immersive training experience that equips physicians to excel in addiction medicine across diverse practice settings. This one-year, ACGME-accredited program welcomed its first fellow in 2020–2021 and now accepts up to five fellows annually from a wide range of specialties, including Family Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, and Emergency Medicine. Fellows may also pursue specialized tracks in adolescent and young adult care, palliative care, perinatal medicine, medical education, or clinical research to further tailor their training.
