Welcome
Hello and welcome! As the Program Director of the General Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, I’m thrilled you’ve found us.
Here at UPMC, our mission is to train the future leaders of cardiology. This includes not only physician-scientists, educators, and clinical leaders in traditional cardiology fields, but also those who will innovate and shape the developing areas of cardiovascular medicine. We strongly encourage our fellows to explore and pursue their passions within the field, and we’re committed to providing the essential tools, resources, and, most importantly, dedicated mentorship to help them achieve their goals.
Our Cardiovascular Medicine Fellowship develops physicians and physician-scientists into leaders and agents of change who provide compassionate, evidence-based care to patients of all needs and backgrounds. We achieve this through an innovative curriculum, pioneering research, and immersion in a high-quality, patient-centered clinical environment. We’re incredibly proud to care for the diverse Pittsburgh community, and our commitment to patient well-being is at the heart of everything we do.
Please take some time to explore our website further to learn more about our fellowship program and meet our awesome fellows and faculty. We’re so glad you’re here!
