“Yvonne has taught me to never give up on myself and to always stand up for myself. She has been more than my role model; she always stands up for me and motivates us on a daily basis to do our best. She runs our department as lead nurse — the best I’ve ever seen and worked with in my 15 years as a UPMC employee. She is more than a lead nurse, I consider Yvonne family. She has helped so much through this pandemic to keep all of us going with her kind words and friendship. She is always willing to step in and help us with whatever we need at work. I wouldn’t choose a better person to nominate, she is an amazing person!”
