Veterans Affairs Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS) University Drive Campus

• Fellow continuity clinics and sleep laboratory located on campus
• Inpatient consult service and inpatient studies available
• 6 bed sleep laboratory
• 1,000 lab based studies annually (including 50 daytime studies)
• 1,500 home sleep apnea tests annually
• 1,700 home sleep apnea tests interpreted remotely for outlying spoke VA medical centers
• Multidisciplinary ALS clinic available

University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC)

• Fellow continuity clinics located on campus at Comprehensive Lung Center (CLC)
• 4 bed (can flex to 6) sleep laboratory located on campus at UPMC Montefiore
• 4 bed sleep laboratories at UPMC Mercy and UPMC Monroeville
• Remote study interpretation available
• 2,500 lab based studies annually combined (including 80 daytime studies)
• 2,000 home sleep apnea tests annually combined
• Neuromuscular disease, RLS, weight management, clinical psychology clinics are available

UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh (CHP)

• Fellow continuity clinics located on campus at UPMC CHP or one of its satellites
• 8 bed sleep laboratory
• Remote study interpretation available
• 1,800 lab based studies annually (including 20-50 daytime studies)
• 2 behavioral sleep psychologists on staff with clinical psychology clinic available
• Experience and exposure to improvement of PAP adherence strategies in children and adolescents.

UPMC Western Psychiatric Hospital (WPH)

• Care provision with sleep psychiatrist to patients with behaviorally complex sleep disorders
• Formal instruction on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBTI) and Brief Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (BBTI)

UPMC Mercy

• Care provision with sleep surgeon to patients failing conventional OSA therapy
• Main site for upper-airway stimulation evaluation
• Opportunities to observe DISE and UAS implantation & titration

Sleep Apnea Dental Center of Pittsburgh

• Care provision with expert sleep dentist using host of oral appliances
