Bio
Dr. Asad A. Khan graduated from Purdue University in 2004 with a B.S. in Radiological Physics. He moved back to his hometown Chicago, to get a M.S. in Applied Physiology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Dr. Khan continued his education at RUSM, completing his M.D. in 2011. He returned to Chicago for residency at RUSH University /John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He subsequently worked as a hospitalist, quality directory, and in informatics for the next few years, prior starting Sleep Medicine Fellowship. During his spare time Asad enjoy playing any sport with a racquet, hiking, traveling, cooking/eating, and trying new things.
Research Interests
Dr. Khan’s prior experience in quality work and informatics in overlooking hospital metrics in regards to bundle payments, sepsis, & HCAHPS has improved efficiency and decreased cost. He championed an initiative in improving sepsis compliance to greater than 80%. Dr. Khan plans on continuing initiatives in integrating informatics and sleep medicine to set standards of care.
