Bio

Dr. Brian Rosborough graduated from Bucknell University with a degree in Cell Biology and Biochemistry and attended the University of Pittsburgh to receive an MD and a PhD in Immunology. Dr. Rosborough was an active member in the Alpha Omega Alpha society during medical school. He moved to Boston to complete his residency in Internal Medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Outside of the hospital he also enjoys cooking, reading, rock climbing, and golf.

Research Interests

Dr. Rosborough studies the immune regulation of acute lung injury in mechanically ventilated patients with acute respiratory distress syndrome. His research focuses on monocyte immunobiology as it pertains to the development of acute lung injury. He utilizes high dimensional single cell RNA sequencing techniques to identify molecular signatures of acute respiratory distress syndrome and sub-phenotypes within this syndrome.
