Users in the Department of Medicine should request IT support by contacting the Health Sciences IT (HSIT) Service Desk.
The HSIT Service Desk is able to resolve commonly seen issues via telephone or remote assistance. In addition, the existing Medicine Technology Services team will continue to provide support for needs specific to the Department of Medicine.
The Department of Medicine has joined HSIT in adopting Zendesk, a new customer support tool that allows our agents to track, prioritize, and respond to customer support tickets from a unified agent workspace.
To submit a support request, please email mts@pitt.edu, and a ticket will automatically be created for you. You can also reach a member of our Service Desk team by calling 412-648-2222. Our agents are available Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM.
