Center for Healthcare Mycology and Fungal Genomics

The Center for Healthcare Mycology and Fungal Genomics is housed within the Division of Infectious Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh. The major goals of the Fungal Center are to develop and validate novel research strategies for diagnosing, treating and preventing fungal infections of humans, and for promoting hygienic and safe healthcare environments free from contamination by pathogenic yeasts and molds.
