Drs. Lori Birder (Renal-Electrolyte), Yuan Liu (Pulmonary/Aging Institute), Andrey Parkhitko (Endocrinology/Aging Institute), and Bokai Zhu (Endocrinology/Aging Institute) receive a total of $1 million for translational research on aging.
Researchers were awarded $250,000 each for the following projects:
- Research to Reverse Organ Aging (Lori Birder, PhD)
- Targeting NAD+ in Late-stage Alzheimer’s (Yuan Liu, PhD)
- Orthogonal approach to slow aging (Andrey Parkhitko, PhD)
- Rejuvenate nuclear speckles, delay aging (Bokai Zhu, PhD)
