Dr. Schwartz Discusses Probiotics and Fecal Transplantation

Marc Schwartz, MD was featured in a Tribune-Review newspaper article, Probiotics Key in War on “Superbugs,” in March 2015 to discuss the use of probiotics and “good” bacteria for GI health. Dr. Schwartz highlighted his novel work with fecal transplantation designed to rebuild a more complete and health bacteria community in the gut. Dr. Schwartz is an Assistant Professor of Medicine with the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, where his practice concentrates on inflammatory bowel disease and celiac disease patients.
