Dr. O’Keefe Promotes Fiber-Rich Diet on PBS
Stephen J.D. O’Keefe, MD, MSc was featured on the original PBS documentary, In Defense of Food, and discussed his microbiome and fiber research studies. This December 2015 program stars U.S. journalist Michael Pollan and discusses a prescription for reversing the damage being done to health by today’s industrially driven Western diet. Dr. O’Keefe is a Professor of Medicine with the University of Pittsburgh | UPMC Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition.
