Dr. Levinthal Highlighted in Pitt Med
Novel research by David Levinthal, MD, PhD and collaborators is featured in the Fall 2016 and Summer 2017 issues of Pitt Med Magazine. Dr. Levinthal discusses proof of the brain’s connection with organs and bodily functions as well as potential treatment strategies in “Mind is Matter: The Circuitry of the Mind Body Connection.” Dr. Levinthal is an assistant professor of medicine with the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, where he also directs the Division’s Neurogastroenterology and Motility Center.
