Dr. Levinthal Comments on GI Electrical Stimulation in IEEE Magazine
David Levinthal, MD, PhD was featured in the March 2018 issue of Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) Spectrum magazine. In the article, “Tummy Tech Tracks Electrical Activity for Signs of Indigestion,” Dr. Levinthal discusses potential symptom identification through electrical monitoring of the GI tract. Dr. Levinthal is an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Pittsburgh Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition, where he also directs the Division’s Neurogastroenterology and Motility Center.
