Andres Duarte-Rojo, MD, PhD, FAASLD has been inducted as an American Association for the Study of Liver Disease (AASLD) Fellow. AASLD honors superior professional achievement in clinical practice and research with fellowship in the organization. AASLD Fellowship is the highest honor among AASLD membership categories, and this award recognizes superior professional achievement in clinical or academic practice, and in basic or clinical research. AASLD Fellowship is awarded to members (physicians, scientists, researchers or health care providers) who have made a significant contribution to the knowledge and/or practice of liver and biliary diseases, and who are considered leaders in the field.
