Faculty Affairs
The Department of Medicine’s clinicians, scientists and physician-scientists are dedicated to conducting novel research, teaching the next generation of clinicians and scientists, and delivering top-of-the-line medical care. With 655 physicians and faculty members, the Department is the largest within Pitt’s School of Medicine.
The Office of Faculty Affairs seeks to serve all Department of Medicine faculty. Through coordination with leadership, faculty, and administrators, the office helps to facilitate promotions and tenure, faculty development, credentialing, recruitment and retention, immigration administration, payroll, and human resources functions.
