Robert M. Rogers Fund
The Bob and Sandy Rogers Endowed Fund in Pulmonary, Allergy, and Critical Care Medicine was established by the Rogers’ family in 2008. This fund was created to honor the former Division Chief and specifically to sustain his life-long mission of fellowship training and education. READ MORE…

Project to Cure Obliterative Bronchiolitis (BOS/chronic rejection of transplanted lungs)
In 2014, physicians and scientists within the University of Pittsburgh Division of Pulmonary, Allergy and Critical Care Medicine, along with partners at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, launched an aggressive research project to diagnose obliterative bronchiolitis (OB) early, and develop new treatments to prevent its inevitable progression. Simmons Center for ILD
The Dorothy P. and Richard P. Simmons Center for Interstitial Lung Diseases at the University of Pittsburgh was established in 2001 through the generous donation of the Simmons family with the aim of providing a unique environment in which disease management and diagnosis, patient and family education, and cutting edge research are seamlessly integrated.
