Research Interest
Dr. Mieczkowski's research interests are educational, and focused on trainee autonomy and wellness, in particular trainee financial wellness.
Clinical Interest
Dr. Mieczkowski is a dual-trained physician who is board certified in both internal medicine and pediatrics and who sees patients across the age spectrum. She works with the physicians and staff at her combined adult and pediatric office in Turtle Creek to improve individual, family, and community health. Additionally she sees adult patients through the general internal medicine office at UPMC Montefiore.
Educational Interest
Dr. Mieczkowski was named the Associate Program Director for the combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Residency training program in July 2016 and promoted to Program Director in July 2020. She works closely with medical students, residents, and fellows in the inpatient and outpatient settings and is particularly interested in the balance of trainee supervision and autonomy, as well as trainee wellness.
