Research Interest
My research is focused on fibroblast biology in Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF) at the Simmons Center for ILD. Particularly, I am interested in mechanism of action of IL8-family chemokine ‘CXCL6’ and its receptors CXCR1/2 that underlie IPF. Other interests include the role of TWIST1 in IPF and the role of GDF15 in GFRAL-independent mechanisms in the injury of the lung and liver.
